Nick's experience
After studying drama, Nick embarked on a nine-year career in journalism that took him from his native Devon to London's Fleet Street where he worked at the Mail on Sunday.
His career path took a sharp turn into public relations when he joined Biss Lancaster, creative public relations and communications agency. He then moved to The Quentin Bell Organisation (QBO) where he progressed from account manager to board director - a promotional path largely driven by his creative approach to PR.
In 1991 he set up Band & Brown with QBO colleague Gill Brown to begin his career as leader of a successful and profitable agency.
Nick's style
Nick's interview style is direct and sometimes unorthodox. He looks for creativity, the ability to think strategically and above all personality. So if you're having an interview with Nick you must prove to be outgoing, confident and quick-witted.
