Peter's experience

Pompey’s Chief Executive Peter Storrie has been in his present role for over seven years, presiding over the club’s most successful period in over half a century. After managing a successful Scandinavian-owned international business outside of football, Peter became Managing Director at West Ham United in 1989. Peter then took on Chief Executive posts at Southend and Notts County as well as serving on the Board of Football League Directors.

In 2002 Peter Storrie came to Fratton Park, just prior to Pompey being promoted to the Premier League in 2003. During his time with Portsmouth, Peter has also had the delight of seeing them win the FA Cup in 2008. In the 2008-9 season, Pompey’s first ever in Europe, Peter was made Executive Chairman of Portsmouth Football Club. In addition he sits on the FA Council as a Premier League representative and on the FA International and FA Cup committees.

Peter's style

When interviewing, Peter looks for someone who has something a bit different and who can add to the mix at Portsmouth FC. He wants to know what makes candidates tick and expects honest answers to his questions. Peter makes his decisions based on candidates' first interviews, so first impressions count.
