A graduate of Cardiff University, Steve started his career at the media training consultancy Mills & Allen. He then joined media buying agency Motive as manager of Motive Outdoor Services – a joint venture with Poster Publicity. His approach matched perfectly with the company's direct and unique approach to outdoor media buying.
In 2000, when Starcom merged with Motive Communications to become Starcom Motive, Steve was promoted to head of Starcom Motive Outdoor, one of the top five outdoor spending agencies in the UK.
In May 2008 Steve was promoted to Managing Director of MediaVest, responsible for clients including Kraft, S&N, P&G, Premier Foods, Fiat, EMI and BT.
