Jobsite 2011 Brand Campaign

The Jobsite TV ads ran nationwide from Monday 3rd October, showing for 4 weeks.

Max Beesley continues to front our campaign, as he connects extremely well with viewers and ensures the adverts stand out and are memorable. We also signed award winning film director Mike Leigh to direct our new ads, which means they are excellent quality.

To build on the success of our previous TV advertising campaign, you'll notice the similarity in our message to 'upload your CV to Jobsite' - a message that is encouraging passive candidates to start their job hunt and resulted in 134,000 new searchable CVs being available on Jobsite in October, during the heavyweight brand campaign activity.

Results

Since the launch of our brand campaign in October 2008, we've seen our searchable CV database grow from just over 500,000 to over 2.68 million searchable CVs. Statistics from our October 2011 activity include:

  • 134,000 searchable CVs added to our searchable CV database - that's around 4,700 CVs daily
  • 999,000 applications to our clients' vacancies
  • 4.5 million visits to Jobsite.co.uk
  • 119,000 new candidate registrations

On TV

January 2011 saw the launch of our brand new ads in our largest ever burst of TV advertising.
During our October 2011 TV advertising activity we showed the four new adverts that aired in January as well as two new adverts.

Mobile advertising

Jobsite signed a partnership with O2 in July 2011 which sees us run the Careers portal on O2 Active (O2's mobile site). This partnership also includes text and video messaging to O2's customers and behavioural targeting activity.

Elsewhere on mobile we're advertising across various mobile platforms and using push notifications to drive downloads of our Android app.
