Job Title: Software Developer
Location: Bedfordshire

The Background

Scientific research organisation specialising in aerodynamic technologies currently seek software developers to join their exciting team. Working on wind tunnel testing and complementary services for the aerodynamic design cycle of aircraft and associated systems.

The Role

You will be involved in development projects designed to predict flow around complex geometries, and for performing aerodynamic research in support of the aerospace industry.

Skills required:

· Strong skills in object oriented programming using C++
· Experience using STL
· Strong mathematical background

Desirable Skills:

· Experience in CFD
· Knowledge of Parallel processing using MPI
· Experience of software development in a Linux environment
· Experience in mesh generation or aero-acoustics

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic with an aptitude for scientific programming, have a keen interest in the aerospace industry and who wants to develop their career in this exciting branch of computational engineering
