As a leading marine industry client we are looking for someone with a good couple of year's industry experience ideally in a consumer electronics company or design consultancy.

What we are looking for

To design and develop graphic user interfaces across our portfolio of products.

Main duties/responsibilities (in addition to these tasks, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required). Create and deliver graphic designs, specifications and assets - screen layouts, fonts, icons, animations for interactive products. Work with Interaction designers, Architecture and Product development teams to establish strategic direction of screen graphics, and digital content visualization. Develop graphic concepts and prototypes for presentation and testing. Research, analyse and report on graphic user interface design and visual design trends. Define, promote and maintain a coherent visual design language across product range. Work quickly, creatively and decisively. Deliver designs to suit product and project requirements

Salary: £20k to £25k dependent on experience, the position does hold excellent benefits on top of the salary. Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Director, Flash, 3D studio

Skills

BA or MA in Multimedia design, Graphic design, Communication design or related field
Proficiency in relevant software and design/prototyping techniques (eg Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Director, Flash, 3D studio etc) Knowledge/experience in 3D visualisation, Gaming, complex information visualisation desirable
