Location: Milton Keynes / home based
Salary: £65k to £75k base + car + bonus + bens
Reporting to: Head of Global Commercial Accounts
Responsibility:
* Single Ponit of Contact for contractual issues into major interfaces such as GIA (global infrastructure accounts) Sector Head, Legal Services etc
* Owner of all global / international contractual commitments
* Negotiation support (standard) up to negotiation lead on large global outsourcing deals
Key Activities:
* Definition of global standard terms and conditions for GIA projects (Buy-in by Board and Affiliates)
* Create and develop Global Master Framework Agreement
* Definition of suitable contract structures for GIA projects
* HQ Contract approval preparation/ driver of escalation process up to Board
* To support and drive contracting or Framework Agreement negotiations for major GIA deals
* Highly profiled negotiation lead to be used on request
* Contractual risk evaluation and liability limitation in GIA projects
* Benchmark of Terms with competition and other divisions (to ensure terms are competitive)
* Create a knowledge management database of Global Contracts
Contacts
* Extensive customer contacts, especially with Procurement, Legal Attorneys and business functions
* Negotiation Team Members: Sales (Sector Head / GAM), Legal Service (HQ, LC), HR (e.g. TUPE), Product Expert, Service Expert, other experts case by case (e.g. Quality, tax, Export, Accounting)
* Supporting Units: Bid Management, GIA SO International Deal Desk (IDD), CCF / LC's (Standard templates), FIN Accounting, FIN Tax
* Escalation Management: GIA Heads, Regional CEO's/CFO's, Board, Country heads
Key Tasks
* To support the contracting or Framework Agreement negotiations for major GIA deals and negotiation lead on request (business responsible: local BA Lead country).
* Holds authorisation to veto terms and conditions for Headquarters based agreements and acts as first excalation step as a broker to help to resolve disagreements between countries involved in the transaction.
* Definition of global standard terms and conditions for GIA projects with different governing laws, creation and development of Global Master Frame Agreements and definition of suitable contract structures for GIA projects and create a knowledge management database for global contracts.
* Liaison with Sector Head, Legal Services and active guidance of Local BA's etc. to create and define global standard terms and conditions.
* Benchmark of terms with competition and other divisions. (ensure terms are competitive)
* Manage and sustain positive relationships with internal and external customers
Knowledge / Experience
* Experience in drafting and negotiating high value, high risk, multi-country / global agreements (value not below £7m to £10m)
* Good all round commercial experience including P&L
* International experience
* Telecoms vendor experience ideally
* Background in procurement and sales a big bonus
* Able to build strong relationships with other business functions
* Previous customer contact in a similar role
* Ability to lead global, cross functional teams to reach common goals (working with, not man managing)
* Proven intercultural competency (very important)
* Ability to liase with senior execs and board members
* This is a highly empowered role that requires cutting edge negotiaiotn skills needed along with dynamic contracting abilities.
