Location: Derby, Burton on Trent, Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Nottingham, Kegworth, East Midlands

Basic salary: £8.00 per hour + Overtime + ongoing contract

This client has years of experience and a deep know how in the engineering, development and manufacturing of RF and Microwave products in a multitude of versions and for communications, industrial and transportation applications. Our comprehensive range includes RF and microwave cables, connectors and assemblies as well as antennas and protection and feeder line components.

The Role:

At least 2 years hands on experience of assembling, harnesses and looms

associated metalwork for cabs, saloons and underframes.

Ability to work from initial task brief and little supervision thereafter.

Ability to mark out looming boards from engineering doc/drgs.

Good general tooling knowledge.

Preferable experience of inspection /QA practices.

Experience of on-site working.

Job flexibility.

Main tasks, duties and authorization limits:

Responsible for Marking out looming boards.

Responsible for the assemble, ident, strip and terminate signal, low and high voltage harnesses inc metalwork.

Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies

Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
