Nokia RAN Support Engineer
Our client a leading network provider is looking for a Nokia RAN Support Engineer to be part of and to effectively contribute to, the objectives and work of the Back Office Radio Access Network Support team. To be a highly specialised Systems Engineer providing 3rd line technical support and guidance for O&M and to escalate and liaise with Vendors & service providers for the 4th line support until resolution.
Key responsibilities:-
3rd Line technical support for all aspects of the Nokia RAN comprising of RAN, AXC and Node B elements.
To be responsible for high level analysis, diagnosis and problem solving on the RAN.
Advising on the processes and procedures within ETL that the RAN Support team are responsible for and have involvement with.
To ensure that accurate RNC configuration documentation is maintained and an adequate disaster recovery procedure is produced.
Nokia RAN Engineers should have integration and support experience of Nokia RNC, AXC and Node B operation and maintenance with an in depth working technical knowledge of 3g telecommunication networks. An in depth understanding of Nokia RNC, BSC, Node B or BTS would also be required.
