An exiciting opputuntity has arisen within Aon`s Birmingham branch.

The sucessfull candidate will have strong sales and client relationship skills within the commercial insurance field.

The Client Director is the senior contact between the Client and the Commercial Insurance Division. They will drive revenue growth through the provision of Aon services to their clients, through a dedicated team of Client Managers, drawing upon designated service teams and specialist resources, including those from other Divisions.

The Client Director will build a highly motivated, focused team of Client Managers with a total portfolio value between £2m and £5m, who are encouraged to share problems and use initiative in the pursuit of customer service excellence.

Through strong leadership and influence, the CD will set the standard for others to aspire to. The CD will fulfil the senior client liaison role for a number of larger clients.In this regard their main accountabilities are identical to that of a Client Manager but they exhibit higher levels of competence and experience.

The CD may co-ordinate client relationship management for the whole of Aon on certain clients.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Lead a dedicated team of Client Managers to achieve revenue goals by effectively implementing the functional strategy, including the management of their personal development, performance and client assignments

- Manage the performance delivered by that dedicated team and ensure the overall growth of revenue of their clients

- Promote all compliance related requirements throughout the team

- Drive the highest level of service to each Client, within area of responsibility, in line with the agreed ToBL, SoSA and Service Plan

- Lead the Client Management team to act as the Client's advocate and guide within Aon ensuring products and services are identified and introduced, to meet the needs of clients

- Contribute to the development of strategy through the management group

- Act as senior relationship manager for designated clients co-coordinating client relationship management across the whole of Aon. Build senior level relationships within their Client`s

- Liaising with Director of Service, ensure effective working relationships between the Client Management teams and the Client Service teams, so that together they drive revenue and profit growth

- Where the CD is the senior manager on site: provide leadership across all ARS divisions instilling a culture of teamwork, effective communications and professionalism. Act as the Aon point of contact in the local market place
