Project Overview:
The Global Futures Division of Cargill is looking for a team of highly skilled individuals to work together for 18 months to implement a Global Straight Through Processing Initiative around Futures and Options Trade Reconciliation. This team will come together to co-ordinate, plan, and implement the business processes, procedures, interfaces, systems, and best practices for Futures and Options trade reconciliation across a large and complex global organisation.

The Project Manager role is a contract position expected to have a duration of 18 months.

Responsibilities Include:
* Lead and direct the execution of the project by working with the Program Manager, I.T. Project Manager, Business Leads, Business Analysts, Internal Business Project resources, Subject Matter Experts, and Business End User resources as the project is rolled out across all the groups.
* Direct, manage and document the project planning and resource effort.
* Create and manage the complete project plan.
* Manage project plan communications and updates to Project Team and Internal Businesses as each group is rolled out.
* Evaluate and manage project performance, identify changes to the project baseline, and take corrective action in consultation with Program Manager and I.T. Project Manager as applicable and update project baseline.
* Measure and report on project performance e.g. scope, schedule, cost, resources, performance measures, risks, issue log and resolution.
* Maintain control over the project - manage and execute on issues logs, risk logs, user acceptance/ system planning and testing, defect logs and project team escalations points.
* Review and manage change control approval requests.
* Promote understanding across Project Team and Cargill Internal Business resources.
* Liaises with the I.T. Project Manager to ensure adherence to Cargill Processes and Methodologies.
* Supports Program Manager and I.T. Project Manager with reporting and communication requirements to stakeholders.

Required
* Excellent experience and proven track record in managing large, successful global business process projects from planning to execution (including project plans, issue logs, change control, project updates and communications, costs etc).
* Good practical business experience in futures clearing and trade reconciliation would be a distinct advantage.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced experience in Microsoft Project with good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Open and pro-active in constructively identifying, addressing and resolving issues.
* Able to work independently without much direction.
* Able to motivate and support teams through all phases of a project.
