Associate Consultant
***Associate Consultant*** There is a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Consultant to work in our Leeds office. We are looking for someone who can deliver exceptional client service by providing efficient, professional and timely support to team members.

Key responsibilities for an Associate Consultant include:
· Developing relationships with clients and other business units and practices across Aon Consulting.
· Responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner.
· Providing timely, efficient and professional delivery of service using the appropriate available resources for each client
· Managing one's own workflow effectively.
· Assisting in the internal management of client work.
· Producting clear and accurate reports, papers and letters including those containing technical advice.
· Ensuring appropriate legislative, regulatory, business, professional and practice standards are met.
· Developing an in-depth understanding of the employee benefits environment and Aon's propositions.
· Playing an active part in service delivery as part of the client service team.
· Attending client meetings for personal development purposes.
· Progressing professional qualifications in line with Aon Study Policy if applicable.
· Supporting the work of routine technical calculations and check technical work.
· Undertaking complex technical calculations appropriate to level of competence and experience.
· Developing an understanding of Actuarial tools, methods and calculations.
· Being aware of fee negotiations and client billing needs and issues.
· Ensuring Aon Consulting's financial management protocols are adhered to.
· Attending and contributing to team meetings.
· Responsibility for own personal and professional development including attendance and completion of appropriate training programmes.
· Liaising with external parties as appropriate
An understanding of the Pensions and related Industries.
Basic level of technical understanding e.g. legislations
An understanding of Employee Benefits Products
Good communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
High level of numeracy
Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
