With over 350 employees in the UK and still rapidly expanding they are now seeking to recruit a Chief Marketing Officer to oversee all marketing activities within the organisation.

Working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for the marketing of Jagex products / services, strategic development and business planning. You will implement and develop key marketing alliances in existing and new territories in order to continue growing an already impressive membership base. In more detail your role will include the following:

* Day-to-day reporting on all Jagex marketing matters, leading and driving all of the company's initiatives in the marketing department;
* Line managing and coordinating the marketing, business development and the advertising teams;
* Working on revenue-sharing deals, ensuring that you maximise the financial opportunity from each deal;
* Identifying opportunities in existing markets and in new technologies (e.g. mobile phone, iPhone, etc) in order to augment the player base;
* Planning and coordinating company presence at trade shows around the world;
* As a key member of the executive team, you will be involved in strategic business decisions.

In return your CV should demonstrate a previous background occupying a similar role, with a proven track record working in a major internet company or one that has a significant internet presence (i.e. eBay, Yahoo! Amazon, John Lewis, Argos etc.) You will be a persuader and a deal maker, someone capable of developing strong marketing strategies and striking competitive deals with the right marketing partners.
Ultimately you will know the internet inside out, possess a business related marketing degree and/or professional marketing qualifications, have an excellent commercial background in Marketing and have an interest or understanding in online communities, computer games or RPGs/MMOs.
