JOB TITLE: Business Development / Account Manager / Territory Sales
SELLING: Insulation products
SELLING TO: Architects, Specifiers, Contractors, M&E Contractors
TERRITORY: Field Based
LOCATION: You must live within 30 minutes of the territory
PACKAGE: £37k basic + £15k OTE company car, 30 days holiday, Pension and Healthcare
THE COMPANY
· Major market leader in the manufacture of insulation systems and products includes thermal, acoustic and fir-rated products for both domestic and commercial applications. Won numerous awards for product development and environmental issues
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
· My client is looking for a structured & well organised field sales professional
· Ideally coming from a construction sales background with some experience
· Good people skills, enthusiastic with a strong will to succeed
· Self sufficient and able to stand on own two feet
ROLE INFORMATION:
· Field based territory sales role
· 70% protecting existing projects and up-selling, 30% new business development
§ An Industrial role selling the companies range of industrial insulation to Contractors Architects and consulting Engineers,
§ The sector you will be targeting sales in will be Factories, Warehouse, and oil rigs anyone who needs to insulate pipe work
§ Projects sold onto tend to be all industrial size properties
§ Targets to be discussed but focus is to maintain a strong pipeline and spec bank
§ Team a targeted on KPIs: new specs, call rates, numbers of CPDs presented etc (focus is to encourage activity that will drive business, not pure revenue targets)
PERSON:
§ Looking for a Technical Manager, someone organised, self-motivated individual with a proven, successful sales track record
§ Must be able to organise and prioritise time effectively and be proficient with MS-Office applications
§ Coming from a Technical insulation background
§ Will also consider HVAC candidates
PACKAGE:
§ £37K Basic OTE £50K
§ Yearly bonus scheme which equates to 20% of basic, calculated on individual, team and company performance from the 1st of Jan it will be 50% of your basic
§ Stakeholder pension where they will match anything you put in up to 15%, or 5% if you choose not to contribute
