JOB TITLE: Sales Director.
AREA: South East.
BASED: Home based.
BASIC: £80K - £100K.
OTE: £150K - £180K.
BENEFITS: £8K car allowance, pension, healthcare and share purchase scheme.


THE ROLE

*Established in 1993 and with a turnover of £55million, this company is looking for a Sales Director to mentor and develop a sales team of 8 selling application development and consultancy services.
*This role will involve selling application development (best shore), business management consulting, e-biz consulting, application maintenance, testing, agile development, learning and training.
*The Sales Director will be selling to the public sector, criminal justice, NHS, defence and local authorities.
*This is a 100% services lead role.
*Sales cycles that the person filling this position should expect to deal with will be from 6 to 12 months or shorter for more base solutions, with order values from £100K to £5million. The average deal size will be roughly £1.5million.
*Back up will be provided to the Sales Director from bid support, a marketing budget, great presence within the public sector and solutions architects.
*This position will involve targeting heads of departments and below.

*225 people are currently employed by then in the UK, with 200 in delivery. They have 1500 employees world wide.


KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

*The successful applicant will have sold application services.
*This company is looking for somebody that has governed profit and loss and managed a sales team.
*All applicants must have sold to the blue chip sector.
*A proven track record in new business and account development is essential for this role.
