A Power Plant Project Engineer is required for one of the leading industrial CHP (Combined Hear and Power) operators in the UK, one of the 'big 6' energy suppliers.

Job Title - Power Plant Project Engineer
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000pa
Benefits - 15% Bonus, car allowance, Private Medical Health Care + Family, & final salary pension.
Location - West Midlands

Must have
- expertise in plant thermodynamics, testing, mathematical and software modelling of plant.
- Work centre knowledge of GT's ST's CCGT operation and design.
- Degree level education with extensive experience gained in understanding commercial operations and thermal performance in generating power plants.

Reporting to the Projects Team Manager, you will take responsibility for sponsor and stakeholder management. You will support existing and new scheme development opportunities, monitor plant performance, propose plant performance enhancing opportunities and contribute to strategy development with the aim to maintain safe and efficient plant operations. You will also oversee delivery and management of operations and performance related projects, ensuring you are involved at each stage of the project lifecycle. This is a challenging and varied role which will require frequent travel (including some periods away from home.)

Naturally, you must be confident in your communications and business abilities, and be able to work effectively with a team.
