PROJECT MANAGER / MANAGER, PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
- ENERGY TRADING & RISK MANAGEMENT (ETRM)

In this exciting leadership role for a management-level professional, you use your deep understanding of project and client management tools and methodologies to lead large-scale Energy Trading and Risk Management projects. At all times you commit yourself to maintain an environment that promotes individual development and high performance standards.


YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Lead complex, multidisciplinary, multi-track projects and/or programs
* Time and budget allocation, scoping, quality and risk management and client relationship-management
* Provide structure and supervision to project teams to ensure maximum performance
* Provide continuous contribution to enhance and strengthen our Sapient Delivery Approach
* Support of Business Development


REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in economics, engineering, natural sciences or related areas
* Profound experience as project lead in the IT and consulting space
* Experience in physical/financial trading in UK and/or Continental European commodity/ financial derivative markets
* Previous familiarity/experience with energy trading & risk management solutions is essential
* Systems experience from any of the following vendors would be considered a major advantage: OLF/Endur, Murex, Allegro, Calypso, Global Energy/KWI TriplePoint, SolArc RightAngle
* Leadership expertise, ideally with international, multi-disciplinary teams of 20+ people
* Substantial knowledge in using project- and risk management tools
* Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills
* Significant travel may be required as much of the work is done at the client site
