Recruiter

How does RecruitRank work?

In the weeks following an application to a vacancy you make on Jobsite, we'll send you an email inviting you to leave feedback on your experience of working with the agency. If you want to leave feedback, we'll ask you four questions and you get to grade on the agency on a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being poor and 5 being excellent).

If you have any particular comments you'd like to make, we also provide you with extra space to do so. This can be quite valuable - particularly when it's constructive - as it enables the agency to understand the specifics of where their company is performing well or where more attention may be needed.

We then have a nice little formula that adds up all the scores from different jobhunters, does a bit of magic and pulls out our Top 10 each day.

What are the questions and why did you choose them?

During our research we asked jobhunters what was important when working with recruitment agencies. The essential criteria that came up time and time again were:

  • the agency keeping in contact and updating on progress (58% of respondents)
  • the agency understanding the jobhunter's needs (21%)
  • the agency understanding the industry the jobhunter works in (12%)

We used this information as the basis of three of the questions and added a fourth asking you for your overall impression of the agency.

Will all recruiters that advertise be included?

The only recruiters that are included at the moment are the recruitment agencies. Very soon we'll be launching a version for our employer clients - we'll let you know when that happens.

Is the information I feedback anonymous?

Yes. Don't worry, we don't add your name to your comments or show the recruiter who said what. We simply tell the agency their scores and show them a list of the comments made by jobhunters.
