This was the sixth year of the awards and the Sunday Times/Best Companies broke records in conducting the biggest and most comprehensive survey of employee opinion in the UK. The views of more than 86,500 employees in 522 companies were fed into this year's results. Keith Potts, Jobsite Managing Director, comments: "To be recognized by our staff as being one of the best companies to work for in the UK is a tremendous achievement. We believe in looking after our staff, because after all they are the ones that make the company what it is today. We couldn't have done that without putting together a team of people who are skilled and passionate about what they do, they are part of the team that makes us as successful as we are." |

Jobsite recognised for their technical innovation
(Online Recruitment Awards 2006) |
Jobsite primarily received this accolade for their two new tools of 2005: RecruitRank and Jobsite Personal Profile. RecruitRank (http://www.jobsite.co.uk/home/rec_recruitrank.html) is a ground-breaking system that tiers recruitment agencies according to jobseeker feedback and allows agencies access to this valuable market research. The top ten agencies providing the highest level of customer service are featured on the Jobsite homepage. The Jobsite Personal Profile (http://www.jobsite.co.uk/cgi-bin/myjobsite_questionnaire.cgi) is a short questionnaire designed to help candidates better understand themselves at their current stage in life and assist them in finding a work environment that suits them best. Taking the test generates five reports which are unique to each candidate. Other reports are being added to continually improve candidates understanding of themselves and others. Alongside these two projects Jobsite also launched three new niche sites using the same technology that it developed for the highly successful NHS site in 2004. Together these different accomplishments resulted in the Onrec judges perceiving Jobsite to be the best technical innovator of 2005 amongst their recruitment site peers. |

Jobsite continues to be a brand leader for online recruitment (eSuperBrand 2006) |
According to the eSuperbrands Council "With the proliferation of websites both reputation and brand image are becoming ever more important in aiding consumer choice. Those brands featured in the eSuperbrands publication are a suitable benchmark of those that truly deliver. Keith Potts, Jobsite managing director, said "To be named an eSuperbrand for the second successive time is fantastic news, the last award in 2000 goes to show how we as a team have built Jobsite as something people see as recognisable brand. In the last 5 years many big online businesses set up then disappeared, this goes to show how we have evolved in difficult times to come out as one of the top brands online. |
