20th May 2010 – Jobsite’s mobile ad campaign has been honoured with a Mobile Merit Award, which recognises excellence across the global mobile industry. With leading international brands such as Nokia, Kodak and NBC entering the awards, Jobsite’s mobile advertising agency Yodel Digital submitted the Jobsite mobile campaign to scoop Best Brand Agency in the Mobile Marketing category.
Entrants were judged by a panel of leading mobile industry executives, media and consultants on industry impact, innovation, technologies, social importance, implementation and overall success factor. The awards cover all aspects of mobility including: devices, infrastructure, applications, social/digital medium, 4G technologies, mobile marketing and media.

20 April 2010 – Jobsite.co.uk are proud to announce the launch of an interactive version of its job search and careers advice service on Freesat, the subscription-free digital satellite TV service.
The new Jobsite service can be accessed by Freesat viewers who connect their HD receiver to their home broadband connection. The Jobsite service can be found on Teletext Channel 986 and offers job seekers a quick and easy job search, together with careers advice.
Users can search for jobs by job title, location, contract type and date added to the site – from the last two hours to the previous seven days. The service will soon be enhanced to include an interactive video interview practice with leading business bosses, such as Duncan Bannatyne.

Helping recruiters utilise new channels to make their jobs easier

‘Jobsite Jobs’ ensures job seekers never miss an opportunity
03 March 2010 – Finding a job just got a little easier for iPhone users, as Jobsite.co.uk launch ‘Jobsite Jobs’ – their free job search application.
This latest innovation is part of Jobsite’s philosophy to make job hunting quicker, easier and less frustrating. The ‘Jobsite Jobs’ app enables job seekers to search for jobs whenever and wherever they want, ensuring they never miss an opportunity.
Users can search for jobs by job title, location, contract type and date added to the site – from the last two hours to the previous seven days. Results can be sorted by relevance, salary or date. Job seekers are able to view full details of the job on their iPhone and have the choice to save the opportunity and apply later or apply via their iPhone using their CV stored on Jobsite.
