		<description>There&#039;s a big difference betwwen lying (claiming qualifications you haven&#039;t got, for example) and embellishment (such as making your previous position sound more responsible than it actually was).

The latter of these is fair game, as most employers and recruitment agencies do exactly the same in their job adverts. E.G. &quot;You need to be a self-starter who can generate new business&quot;. Translation: &quot;We&#039;ve got no marketing budget, so you&#039;ll have to trudge round the streets knocking on doors&quot;.</description>

		<description>Well considering how hard it is to get a job and the fierce competition in the job market, the number of people lying and bending the truth on CVs includes pretty much everyone. Fact is if you want to get ahead and get a job then you have no choice but to stretch facts.</description>
