Personal Skills Statement
I am returning to work after being made redundant in August but I keep being asked to submit a personal skills statement along with my CV. Any tips or examples of the layout and what to put in it.
Thank you, Annette

I was sacked very unfairly in December last year, it’s first time I have had ANY blemish on my CV, but I am finding it extremely difficult to get another job, especially when they are informed that I was sacked for gross misconduct.
I have lots of experience and feathers in my cap but am unsure where to go now?
help!

CVLondon raises the profile of client vacancies to the best candidates
09 January, 2008 – The Evening Standard today announces the launch of their exciting new CVLondon tool which will raise the profile of recruiter’s job vacancies to the best candidates for the role.
After pulling out of my university degree course 10 years ago, I have pretty much drifted from job to job never finding a real “career”. I spent a couple of years as a “House Husband” looking after my 2 daughters and then qualified as a Driving Instructor so that I could work around them.
Unfortunately I’m now in a position where I don’t have the childcare situation and the Driving Instruction seems to have died a death. How do I start afresh with a new career, as the only thing I consider doing at the moment are driving jobs but I have worked in the office side of the freight forwarding industry?
