Diamond Resourcing PLC testimonial

Diamond Resourcing has used Jobsite for several years now, to provide us with an advertising and CV search board for the recruitment of temporary and permanent staff. We have always found Jobsite to be one of, if not the most, beneficial boards that we use in terms of ease of use, relevance of CVs received and quality of response to our advertisements.
The high profile that Jobsite have in terms of their advertising campaign appears to reach the target market that we are seeking. As a result we make approximately 80% of all placements in the company from Jobsite candidates. Our Account Managers have always been extremely helpful, and the service and technical support and training on offer has been very useful to us.
All in all, we would thoroughly recommend Jobsite to anyone in the recruitment industry seeking a user-friendly, well designed and effective resource for candidate generation.

Hudson testimonial

The Talent Management team at Hudson recently used a Jobsite “Response Package” for an on-going volume recruitment campaign. Having previously advertised via Semi Display adverts, the Response Package offered additional benefits, which included a homepage button, Job of the Week and skillword sponsorship banner. This mix provided greatly enhanced exposure for the role, with the application rate being almost 60% higher than the previously run Semi Display ad. By working closely with our account manager we were able to monitor the ongoing performance of the campaign and maintain visibility, as well as tailoring our skill word sponsorship thus ensuring the applications were highly relevant.

You as the ‘Product’ – What Are You Worth?

In the final blog before next week’s Fresh Thinking Series we have another guest post from digital entrepreneur, author, speaker and strategist, Tony Fish. Here he looks at whether free really is free, and whether your privacy really is someone else’s business.

“We love FREE. So much so that we don’t tend to question what it means to get something for free; other than when it seems too good to be true, it probably is. This, coupled with the fact that we like to be a customer and not a product, raises some questions in our increasingly digital lives. If we are not exchanging cash for something but there is a trade, what are you paying with? Or to look at it another way, what ‘value’ are we giving away?

The reality is that in many of life’s interactions and online experiences you pay and therefore you are a customer. However, when you don’t pay for something, you move from being the customer to being the product sold.

For example, if advertisers are paying on Facebook, who is the customer? Continue reading “You as the ‘Product’ – What Are You Worth?” »

Mane Contract Services testimonial

The Response Package from Jobsite was very effective for us as it enabled us to recruit for one of our major engineering clients. The varied functionality the Response Package provided worked well to increase exposure to candidates and drive them to apply for the position. From using the Response Package we have seen an increase in applications not just for this role but with candidates who have other marketable skills and we would definitely consider using it again on other campaigns.
