ITV Joins BeMyInterviewer.co.uk

Over 50,000 visitors log on to interview preparation site in first month of launch

18 March, 2008 – Moray Coulter, Production Talent Executive at ITV, has joined www.bemyinterviewer.co.uk - Jobsite’s interactive video-based website which enables jobseekers to practise for interviews.

He joins leading bosses including Duncan Bannatyne, Ruth Badger and Jacqueline Gold in asking candidates key interview questions on topics including money, experience, personality and selling yourself.

Launched in February 2008 BeMyInterviewer offers a completely new way to prepare for interviews. Since launch, the site has seen over 50,000 unique visitors with over 525,000 videos streamed. BeMyInterviewer links through to vacancies in the interviewers’ companies and also to related vacancies advertised on Jobsite, together attracting almost 6,000 candidates following their interaction with the interviewers on the site.

Candidate feedback on the site has been extremely positive with comments including:

“This website has been really useful. It’s opened my eyes to potential questions that may be thrown my way. I have two job interviews coming up and the information provided has given me much more confidence.”
“I found BeMyInterviewer helpful and easy to navigate. It’s a great practice tool with a good mix of people. I think it’s spot-on and I am looking forward to the new additions.”

BeMyInterviewer is updated regularly with new interviewers and is a helpful preparation tool for recruiters who are sending candidates to interviews. Equally, HR Directors and those responsible for interviewing will find BeMyInterviewer a useful resource in learning how their peers conduct interviews and get the most out of candidates.

As the latest new addition to BeMyInterviewer Moray Coulter is ideal for any candidate looking to go into the broadcast, publishing or media industries. Moray currently works within the Factual and Entertainment department of ITV Productions and is responsible for recruiting senior producers. He has over 20 years experience in TV production and has worked for broadcasters, production companies and trade associations throughout his career.

Commenting on joining BeMyInterviewer, Moray Coulter says; “Interviews can be daunting, and if candidates are too nervous they may end up representing themselves badly because they over-think what should be the right thing to say. I think interviews should be a two way process with candidates using it as an opportunity to find out as much about the company as possible, and that can give them a bit of confidence too. I’m delighted to be part of BeMyInterviewer and to have a chance to help candidates get ready and ease their nerves for their upcoming interview.”
