JobAid Launch – free job advertising for charities

Today is a very exciting day for us at Jobsite as we launch JobAid, an initiative providing free job advertising for charities and organisations with volunteer roles.

As a company, we’ve been very active in our local community, but we wanted to help on a greater, nationwide scale.

The invaluable work carried out by charity and volunteer organisations is only possible because of their talented and committed staff. So we felt the best thing we could do to help, was to cut the cost of finding new people to continue their great work.

Under the new scheme, any charity or volunteer jobs can be advertised on Jobsite for free, enabling those organisations to reduce their running costs and ensure more of their funds can be directed to their good causes.

For jobseekers the scheme provides further opportunities to get back into employment or find a vocation that offers a rewarding experience. Volunteering or charity work can also be a beneficial addition to your CV, helping you stand out from other applicants.

The JobAid initiative is being launched today at Fratton Park, home to the Jobsite-sponsored Portsmouth Football Club, who are also backing the scheme, along with the Premier League, Volunteering England and Community First for Portsmouth.

We’ll let you know how the launch went later today. In the meantime, find out more about advertising a charity or volunteer role, or take a look at the first new charity jobs if you’re job hunting.
