Jobsite Shortlisted for NMA Effectiveness Award
Last Thursday night saw Jobsite attending the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2009 at The Grosvenor House hotel in London.
Our internal search marketing team had been shortlisted with our agency I Spy Search in the ‘Best Use of Search’ category for their work on the paid search campaigns supporting our recent TV advertising.

The prestigious Awards are renowned in the industry for being highly competitive and aim to recognise and celebrate the use of digital media to deliver real business benefits.
Whilst we unfortunately didn’t scoop the big prize, it was nice to be recognised for our efforts. However, the true measure of all the hard work that I Spy Search and our search team have put in, is reflected in the results the campaign delivered.
During the campaign the number of CVs added to our searchable database via Paid Search marketing increased by 460%, whilst applications increased by nearly 240%. Incredible numbers, I think you’ll agree.
So as we danced the night away, lamenting how we didn’t get to shake hands with the host, comedian Dara O’Briain, we could at least rejoice in the fact that our campaign was a huge success for Jobsite and our clients.
