Social Media in Recruitment 2012

We have been supporters of the annual Social Media in Recruitment conference since its inception in 2009. The very first one took place as jobseekers and recruiters were beginning to explore the new channels and it provided much needed guidance and insight for the attendees. At Jobsite we could see the appetite candidates had to embrace social media as we launched our Jobs by Twitter service.

Since 2009 the conference has become an important part of the calendar, enabling forward thinking recruiters to keep up to date on emerging trends and best practices whilst learning, through a mix of case studies and presentations from both industry experts and previous delegates, how leading companies have successfully implemented social media to attract new hires.

The 2012 conference takes place in London on April 19th and will feature a number of key sessions including:

  • How Social Media can make your company stand out from the crowd and become irresistible!
  • How job seekers use Social Media when job hunting and what they expect to see from employers
  • Integrating Social Media into your Website Strategy
  • Putting together Social Media recruitment campaigns that cover different countries, languages and cultures
  • A recruitment agency case study showing how last year’s conference inspired the successful integration of social media into their business

A small number of tickets are still available and you can register your interest on the official site – Jobsite clients can get a 10% discount by using the code Jobsite-10

We will also be bringing you some of the key learning points during the day through our Twitter stream – make sure you follow @JobsiteUK
