“I recently wrote a blog post in which I explained how over the years I’ve been to many recruitment conferences and seminars, and whilst I think there is value in events where recruiters mingle and learn from suppliers or consultant “expert” types, I also think there can be more relevant learning to be had from practitioner only events.

For nearly two years we’ve been running a very successful series of Directors only learning and networking events and finally we’ve had the opportunity, with help from Jobsite and the REC, to put together Consultant only events starting on 14th March with ‘Managing Client Relationships’.

The event is open to recruitment consultants who manage client relationships as part of their day to day activity. It will be delivered as a practical training workshop by Denise Walker who is one of the REC’s top instructors and expert recruiter Emma McDonnell of EVM Consulting, so attendees will be able to get both best practice advice and real life examples. As well as the formal training element we’ll have some workshop sessions and additional input from our other onsite experts. We are hoping to create a fun, refreshing and interactive workshop full of ideas and tips to implement when you get back to the office.
