Recruiting and employing people from outside the UK may have become an important part of life for some major organisations but has never been as challenging as it is today.

The process is complex and we are aware that companies seek advice on a regular basis, so we are supporting a forthcoming Recruitment Society event – Working with the UK Border Agency.

It’s an informal lunch gathering at which there will be a detailed legal update on employing non-UK citizens, new legislation, compliance visits, licence holder responsibilities and reporting requirements, followed by a case study from a leading High Street retail group including the complexities of obtaining a sponsorship licence and living through a Border Agency audit.

As ever, we will be taking notes and meeting the speakers, with the aim of bringing you some of our key learnings.
