Draughtsperson/Designer

We are a European engineering group with eight operating subsidiaries located in five European countries. We are now looking to recruit a experienced draughtsperson/designer to join our team in Chester.

As a draughtsperson/designer you will be:

Reporting to the drawing and design supervisor
Designing, developing and producing computer aided drawings to agreed specifications and timescales.
Working closely with commercial, production and quality departments
Production of mechanical detail drawings using Solidworks and AutoCad with viewports
Sourcing of technical components and equipment for specialised projects
Production of drawings in line with customer specifications and British Standards



The ideal draughtsperson/designer will have the following skills and experience:

Hold a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering
Hold a mechanical engineering degree
Have in-depth knowledge of Solidworks
Knowledge of AutoCad
Good IT skills
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Flexible
A team player

This role is a 3-month contract

In return you will get a salary of £25,000
