Catia V5 CAD Engineer

An automotive OEM requires a Catia V5 CAD Engineer.

Position Description: CAD designer - seating & interior trim.

Skills Required: CAD support of eto projects - primarily interior trim but also to work with other cad designers to support all eto programmes.

Skills Preferred: Development, release & launch of premium seating & interior trim - high line seating derivatives, alternative colours and leathers, embossed leather, leather wrapped trim, premium carpet misunderstanding or safety implications - for example seat airbags & side curtain airbags. Project management and presentation skills are also important as the role will involve the management of suppliers and presentation of status to the eto management team.

Experience required: Experience of development testing and release of seating and interior trim parts.

Experience Preferred: Experience or both high and low volume production methology. Production line fit working with OEM suppliers and with low volume specialist trimmers. Cad experience and drawing release (wers) would be advantageous.

Education Required: Degree preferred however relevant experience is more important.
