CAD Component Design Engineer

CAD Component Design Engineer - Norfolk - Circa £35k plus benefits.

Our Client works extensively in the automotive, industrial and consumer product fields. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic designer to work in their Development Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Product design using a 3D CAD modelling system from initial RFQ / design concept through the product development lifecycle using tools such as FMEA and DFM concepts, to perform feasibility analysis using simulation techniques and software and to develop concepts using both theoretical calculations and principle CAD design methods.

Experience of these Process and/or Manufacturing techniques would be advantageous :-
Injection Moulded Plastic Part Design
Insert Moulded Plastic / Metal Part Design
Electro-mechanical product design packaging
PCB Assembly / PCB Design
Low Pressure Overmoulding
Encapsulation Techniques
Plastic & Metal Joining processes

You will need to have a Degree in Engineering, Physics or related subject together with a proven track record of successful product design and development.
