Solidworks Design Engineer / Draughtsman

My client a leading supplier of technical products in the North West require a draughtsman / designer to join them on contract basis for initially 3 months.

You will be involved in the production of mechanical detailing drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD. It is essential that the contractor can detail to a high standard on Solid Works.

Day to day activities will involve producing, general arrangements and detailing from concepts. The successful candidate will have a good mechanical background and could have experience from any of the following -

- Fabrication
- Sheet Metal
- Solid Works
- AutoCAD

The draughts person will be responsible for the sourcing of the technical components and equipment for specialised projects. All drawings must meet British Standards.
