Job Title: Draughtsperson / Projects Engineer

Remuneration Package: Salary Circa £20K + Bonus

UNUM Scheme, pension scheme after qualifying period



Location: Oldbury, West Midlands



JOB PURPOSE:



Our client distributes and manufactures a range on non-electric starting systems used primarily in the oil and gas industry and who's major clients include companies such as Caterpillar, Cummins Engine Company and many other OEM's and major engine manufacturers.



Due to expansion our client are looking to recruit a Draughtsperson / Projects Engineer-Starting Systems Division.



Key areas of responsibility will be-

- Producing General arrangement and P&ID drawings in Solidworks
- Using the Solidworks package to create Bills of Materials
- Liaising with customers to ensure compliance to specifications and deliveries
- Producing certification and O&M manuals for projects.
- Handling multiple projects running concurrently from initial conception to delivery and post delivery support.
- Attending client's premises as required both in the UK and potentially overseas.
- Assisting the sales team with sourcing and specifying suitable product from sub-suppliers.
- Reading and advising on customers specifications

Must be comfortable with both internal and external customers and be capable of handling demanding deadlines and customer requirements in an organised and confident manner.



Any knowledge of pressure vessels, medium fabrication work and pipework or electrical background and understanding would be an advantage.
