CAD Technician

One of our clients has identified an exciting opportunity to join their ever expanding design team and work in their AutoCAD department as a CAD Technician. The company are a specialist in Rail Engineering, focusing on the ever changing and improving face of the London Underground. This position has been created due to the expanding work load and large portfolio of projects that they have won.

This role will be reporting into the Design Manager, working in a team of CAD Technicians interpreting the designs and drawings through a variety of AutoCAD tools and Microstation. You will be focussed on the signalling projects in the rail division which include design and implementation. You will be responsible for the accurate delivery of designs and drawings using Microstation Version 8.

To be successful in this position you will need to have/be all of the below:

* Working experience of Microstation v8
* Extensive experience of the London Underground
* Worked on signalling design projects
* Knowledge and use of ProjectWise
* Self supporting and motivated to meet tight deadlines
