Account Manager - Interventional Cardiology - Scotland

We are currently recruiting for a market leading Medical Devices organisation with an exciting new opportunity working as an Account Manager within the Interventional Cardiology market. This exciting role will be working across Scotland. The Account Manager works in partnership with a Therapy Representatives to sell the full sales bag including specialty products to all customers in their region.
Good educational background.
Field based experience in Cardiology sales or other relevant clinical/technical field.
Demonstrated experience in selling to procurement professionals.
Able to sell into Cardio Physicians and Consultants in a theatre.
Proven history of account data analysis.
Outstanding presentation and teaching skills.
Consultative selling and negotiation skills - sell value not just price, creative customer problem solving
Long term relationship management - building customer networks
Team working - internal and external collaboration, managing conflict
Analytical and numeracy skills based on business principles (including tools)
Achieve sales plan and operational objectives in targeted accounts.
Partners with Therapy Representatives for the broader IC product portfolio to promote & sell our core IC products and new technologies.
Provides structured updates to regional sales manager and marketing on an ongoing basis
Provides input to business forecasting for accounts.
Maintain the skills and knowledge required to sell the full product lines and differentiate each product line against the competitor’s products in front of the customer
Work with the Therapy representatives for each product area for training departments to ensure familiarisation with the rapidly changing clinical landscape
Conduct excellent product core IC product in-servicing and product evaluation that lead customers to conversion to our client’s products
Maintain an ongoing knowledge of competitive product innovations, sales promotions, catalogues and advertising for personal sales effectiveness and market intelligence
Attend industry trade shows as assigned
Has a thorough understanding of cath-lab procedures and health-care systems
Builds, documents and presents profitable business proposals for each account in collaboration with the broader IC team
Build solid and collegial working relationships with Therapy representatives in order to convey a unified, consistent and professional image with customers
Prepare comprehensive territory plans by account and ensure roadmap implementation. Reflect overall Cardio strategy
Utilise Account planning tools to help develop and share an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts through profiling, to include competitor activity, market share per product, key contact and decision makers and accurate product forecasts
Maintains accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and sales reports required
Manages the hospital product flow with respect to evaluations, consignment, etc.
