      Brand Manager

      45k - 50k pa + Car| Northampton| Permanent

      Macildowie Marketing are currently recruiting for a passionate Brand Manager to join a well known FMCG client based in Northamptonshire. You will be the champion for a portfolio of brands and be responsible for developing and executing leading edge marketing strategies that will deliver short, medium and long term commercial and brand objectives.

      Key responsibilities

      -To develop and execute the marketing strategies for a portfolio of brands working with a number of key stakeholders.
      -To develop and implement annual marketing plans (in line with the agreed portfolio strategy) that deliver, and where possible, surpass commercial and brand objectives.
      -Effectively administer the brand marketing budget remaining within the agreed parameters. Allocating spend in line with commercial and brand priorities.
      -To project manage agreed elements of the annual plan including ATL media, BTL promotional activity, PR etc.
      -Develop strong relationships with other departments, especially the Business Unit planning teams including: customer marketing as well as sales and production.
      -To use influencing skills and personal impact to excite and engage the business with the marketing plans and ensure their effective delivery across the business.
      -Regularly interface and communicate with international licensed brand owners.
      -To ensure all communication, PR, design & media agencies deliver creative excellence, the highest level of service and strong cost control.
      -Occasionally represent the Marketing team on corporate projects (UK & International), ensuring their effective delivery and implementation.
      -To deliver budgeted volume and profit by brand.

      Required Skills and Attributes

      The successful candidate will ideally have prior experience in the FMCG sector working with consumer brands and have a successful track record working across the marketing mix. A strong, commercial project manager with ATL advertising development and media planning experience is desirable.

      This role requires high levels of energy, commitment and impact and the ability to build and maintain strong, win win business relationships and to influence across functions. You will understand customers needs and grasp channel marketing and Category Management (some On Trade knowledge is desirable). Analytical skills are crucial and you will be familiar with using data to construct business cases.
