In the eastern region (Area 6&8) they are responsible for the maintenance and management of the strategic highway network and work closely with their client Highways England.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the site Operational teams through placing goods orders, posting goods received notes and keeping track of stock movements
- Point of contact for plant on and off hire notes, maintenance of supporting paperwork and ensuring all plant items are allocated correctly within the accounts
- Entry in to and maintenance of the mileage logs database and tracking system, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations on van use
- Processing of weekly timesheets and second line point of contact for answering payroll queries
- Maintenance of the WBS code register, ensuring the Works Ordering system and Causeway Project Accounting systems are aligned
- Supporting the Management Accountant with the DCP claims database and ensuring all invoices are correctly allocated
- Support the Commercial and Finance team through creation of task orders and input of subcontract liabilities and payments in to Causeway Project Accounting system
- Processing of purchasing card transactions in MiVision on-line system
- Ensure accurate assignment of all inter-company invoices in the accounts
- Any other duties as required
Required Skills:
- Methodical approach with an inquisitive mind-set and a strong attention to detail
- Strong desire to learn and develop
- Working knowledge of MS Office programmes, in particular Excel
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Good time-management and organisational skills, able to prioritise workload
Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English grades A-C
