      We are a highly innovative, established yet expanding, global design, development and manufacturer producing complex equipment. Our products are both technically challenging and also eco-friendly, leading the way in driving down carbon dioxide emissions for our customers.

      As a result of strong sales, continued investment both in technology and our people, we are looking to appoint a Lead Programme Manager to join our team looking after both our New Product Development as well as bespoke projects.

      As our Programme Management lead / Head of Programmes you will take on a key role with substantial influence over both financial and commercial outlook of the business and you will first class business acumen in addition to proven leadership and mentoring ability.

      As Lead Programme Manager you will have responsibility for a small team of Project Managers, acting in a lead capacity through the whole project lifecycle on R&D electromechanical engineering projects from concept to full scale manufacture.

      With responsibility for one large or several concurrent projects at any one time you will be accountable for the technical performance of projects spanning Planning and Control, Management of a multi-disciplined teams, Contract Management through to Safety and Reliability and Procedural Adherence.

      The position will suit a degree qualified individual in an engineering or closely related discipline with several years' experience of managing large financially complex projects within a high tech manufacturing environment. Proven experience of leading and delivering complex NPI projects for mechanical and electrical products within a fast paced engineering environment essential coupled with a Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 or similar.

      First class communication, influencing and presentation skills are required as this is a high visibility customer facing role.
