The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain you will;

• Prepare, maintain and develop existing multi sector procurement and supply chain market maps, calling and meeting prospective candidates where appropriate.
• Advertising vacancies in a professional and attractive manner in order to attract the best candidates
• Managing job adverts, full application processes ensuring all candidates receive a suitable response and becoming the initial point of contact for the team
• Maintaining a category system for all candidates and managing all appropriate communications
• Generating candidates through head hunting and selected methods of candidate attraction ensuring database is kept up to date at all times
• Organising and conducting candidate meetings, coordinating interviews with candidates liaising directly with the team and external stakeholders
• Developing strong rotation both internally and externally, being able to think on your feet and respond to queries in an appropriate time frame with a high level of professionalism
• Assisting with interview preparation for candidates prior to them meeting a prospective employer
• Identifying market trends by speaking to candidates and sharing this knowledge during client meetings and with the wider team
• Become a Scottish market subject matter expert in order to provide consultative advice to clients and candidates in the market
• Regular contact with candidates via scheduled contact calls, provide feedback and ensure communication and database is kept up to date at all times
• Developing business with new clients over the phone
• Attending business meetings with new and existing clients
• Maintaining working relationships with existing clients and spotting opportunities for further business
• Sourcing candidates for live client requisitions

Successful applicants will be degree educated, be able to exemplify extra-curricular achievements and sporting interests/achievements would also be desirable.
