We are now looking to recruit an Electronic Security Service Engineer to report in to our South Coast branch. This field based role will operate out of our South Coast Branch, covering the Hampshire area.
You will have previous experience of servicing (reactive and preventative calls) security alarm systems (CCTV, Intruder and Access Control) and you hold a relevant qualification (ideally) with a full Driving Licence. You will also need to be well organised, committed to providing excellent customer service, able to work autonomously as well as part of a team and be computer literate.
Responsibilities will include attending sites to undertake the periodic maintenance of security alarm & detection systems and carrying out necessary fault finding, meeting predefined targets for periodic inspections, liaising effectively with the service desk regarding customer issues and ensuring that all paperwork/ electronic reporting to the service desk is carried out accurately and promptly.
You will have the ability to supplement your earnings with out of hours call out payments and bonuses and will benefit from the opportunity to progress your career within the business and benefit from the Employee Scholarship Programme. The basic for this position is £26,000 with an additional £6,000 for Call Outs (minimum), with over time included this translates to total earnings of around £32,000 pa excluding any overtime.
We welcome applications from Field Service Engineers, Installation Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Security Service Engineers and Systems Engineers with proven electronic security servicing experience. Whilst candidates will ideally have industry experience, we can offer training & support to candidates with a general electrical background who also have an interest or aptitude in Electronic Security.
