Scope at Roman House needs you!
We are looking for people who want to work in an environment where job satisfaction is a must. We want people who want to strive towards making a difference in people's life.
Scope exists to bring about changes that will help create a society where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We do this by influencing and raising awareness, and by providing a wide range of services and information for disabled people and their families.
Scope at Roman House is a residential service that supports disabled people.
We also provide care in the community for disabled children and adults. Our focus is to provide social and emotional support to enable people to live their lives as they choose.
About the Support Workers role
Providing support to people living in our main house and bungalows, the role includes providing physical, social and emotional support to ensure high quality person centred support. This will involve covering various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and a number of sleep-ins per month.
At Scope Roman House we are always looking for people that are passionate and dedicated to delivering excellent care services or willing to learn. Previous experience in social care is desirable but not essential as we provide excellent training including the opportunity to gain an NVQ to open up your career options. All we ask is that you have a genuine desire to support disabled people.
If working in a residential setting is not for you or you want a variety, why not join our care in the community team as one of our Support Workers? We are called Basingstoke community activities and we need people who want a challenging yet rewarding role supporting children, adults and their families. Why not join us and do a bit of both residential and care in the community?
All successful Support Workers will be subject to a DBS check.
