What is JobAid?

JobAid is a unique online recruitment service for charity and voluntary organisations across the UK, enabling free vacancy advertising for their unpaid roles.

Launched on in association with The Premier League, Volunteering England, Portsmouth Football Club and Community First for Portsmouth, JobAid benefits from exposure to Jobsite's 8 million registered users.

JobAid is promoted nationwide through continued marketing activity and through the communications of the brands involved in its launch.

Why has it been launched?

JobAid was launched for two main reasons:

  1. To help reduce the running costs of charities and organisations that need volunteers
  2. To provide more opportunities to help people get back to work or gain new skills and experiences

The invaluable work carried out by charity and voluntary organisations is possible only because of their talented and committed staff. With limited budgets, recruitment of new voluntary staff can be challenging. That's why we are providing free job advertising - to help those organisations continue their important work.
