A major name in the Industry is expanding its Colchester operation and looking to appoint a Team Manager to lead a growing team. The main responsibilities of the role include: *Lead, coach and manage a team of Underwriters. *Making sound underwriting and commercial decisions, both for new business and at renewal. *Manage delivery of new business, retention and underwriting performance targets. To be successful in this role you will need: *People management skills. *Good Underwriting experience. *To communicate well and be able to build good relationships with Brokers. *Ability to work under pressure. *Planning skills to ensure that there is a prompt and accurate turnaround of workload. *Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
