A minimum of 3 years programming C# windows forms applications. Some experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is highly desirable. Some experience with WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) would be an advantage. Preference given to someone who has an engineering background and who has worked in industrial applications... however, those that have the right programming skills but only worked in commercial/business applications would also be considered. Strong interpersonal and general communication skills. Preference is for a first degree (Bachelors or Masters) in computer science of software engineering... but any degree in an engineering discipline would be considered. Microsoft certifications would be an advantage. Peer Positions: Other senior software engineers, senior embedded software engineers and electronics engineers. External Contacts: Engineering colleagues on other sites. Internal Partners: May need to work with product / business development managers.
