This a key role in a growing business in the fast paced Conveyancing sector. The main purpose of the role is to plan and organise the finance function in order to ensure accurate maintenance of the Company records, timely production and monitoring of Budgets, Forecasts, Management and Financial Accounts, and ensure that adequate controls are in place to ensure the... mentoring, training and advisory role to existing employees. Maintain a working knowledge of the CLC accounting rules. Production of Legal Board Packs in accordance with parent company timescales. Ensure that adequate financial controls are in place including security. Manage team performance and delivery of objectives. Skills and Attributes Preferably qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), part qualified/QBE considered Sound and up to date knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards. Excellent Excel modeling skills. Experience of CLC or SRA accounting rules (preferred). Minimum of two years experience in a similar role managing staff including financial control.
