A North Bristol Sales & Distribution company, supplying to the Construction, Agricultural and Fabrication sectors from their 33 sites in the UK, has exciting opportunties for 2 experienced Buyer(s). 1. Purpose of this Role: The purpose of these roles is to source and purchase, goods and/or services for the company in a timely manner and at the most effective prices.... management processes (including negotiation plans with suppliers) - Product costing v margin awareness (Gross margin/Gross profit) - Negotiate rebates for volume purchasing - Agree Terms & Conditions with suppliers ensuring they are adhered to - Negotiate payment terms - Supplier engagement information (e.g. packing needs, delivery points, vehicle type) - Expedite orders and manage resolution of supply problems 2.4 ISO - Define and manage the ISO process and procedure - Control document structure and flow - Accurate maintenance of historic data in relation to your buying activity
