Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Part Time 22.5 hours per week The Liver Unit at Birmingham Childrens Hospital provides a supra-regional service for children with liver disease and acute liver failure and is a designated centre for Liver and Small Bowel Transplantation. We currently have a vacancy for a Family Support Worker within our unit. This is an exciting new post where the successful applicant will be providing support on both practical and social issues to our families. You will need to have good communication skills, be highly motivated. You will be based within the Liver Specialist Nurse Team and work closely with the Senior Specialist Support Worker In return we will offer a structured induction package and ongoing support and appropriate training.
