Our client is currently looking to recruit for an Information Governance Manager / Head of Information to join their busy team on a 9-12 month fixed term contract basis. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of Information and Data Legislation such as The Data Protection Act 1998, The Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004, Human Rights Act 1998 and / or Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000. You will be required to maintain an up to date knowledge base on the above relating to data usage, sharing and disclosure to develop and review corporate policies, procedures and strategies to ensure continued compliance. You will also manage the release of personal information as required by summons, court order or protocol and also coordinate all other activities relating to information and data.
