      Effective from 26th March 2013

      This document describes the products and services which may be ordered from the Company and sets out the specific conditions that apply in relation to the supply of certain products and services by the Company.

      Products and Services Descriptions and Definitions

      Banner Advertisement: a banner advertisement;

      Button Advertisement: a static button advertisement;

      Corporate Brochure: a web page which contains text, graphics, data which are used to promote a corporate message;

      Corporate Button: a Button Advertisement that features the Recruiter’s name and/or logo;

      CV Online: a service which enables the Recruiter to search for and view CVs online using various search criteria;

      CV Watchdog: a service which enables the Recruiter to set up search criteria and receive the latest CVs which match its search criteria via email;

      Display Advertisement: a vacancy advertisement that uses a fully bespoke designed template and inserted text. The combination is used to advertise a single vacancy and is available to jobseekers via online search and where applicable via the Jobs-by-Email service;

      Featured Recruiter Listing: web pages featuring Button Advertisements that display logos of Recruiters who have a Corporate Brochure;

      Featured Jobs-by-Email: an enhancement of the Jobs-by-Email service which matches and sends individual Recruiter career opportunities via email to jobseekers who have registered for the Jobs-By-Email service;

      Filtering Form: a web page template containing questions supplied by the Recruiter which is attached to a Lineage Advertisement, Branded Semi-Display Advertisement, Unbranded Semi-Display Advertisement or Display Advertisement, and which a jobseeker is invited to complete by the Recruiter;

      Fixed Fee Recruitment: a Recruiter packages up vacancies from one or more job boards and sell these to its clients for a fixed fee.

      Homepage Banner: a Banner Advertisement displayed on the homepage in rotation with other advertisements;

      iPhone App Banner: a Banner Advertisement for display on the Company’s iPhone App in rotation with other advertisements;

      iPhone App Sponsorship: sponsorship of the Company’s iPhone App;

      Jobs-by-Email: a service which matches and sends career opportunities via email to jobseekers who have registered for such service;

      Jobs-by-Email Sponsorship: the sponsorship of a message on a specific selection of emails sent in the Jobs-by-Email service;

      Job of the Week: a vacancy advertisement that is displayed under the Job of the Week section on the homepage in rotation with other advertisements;

      Leaderboard: a Banner Advertisement displayed at the top of the homepage in rotation with other advertisements;

      Lineage Advertisement: a vacancy advertisement containing text only which is available via online search and once per week via the Jobs-by-Email service;

      Live Vacancy Listing: a web page which lists all live vacancy advertisements of the Recruiter;

      Location Sponsorship: a service whereby a jobs search for a specific location will generate a display of the Recruiter's Banner Advertisement and/or Button Advertisement in rotation with other advertisements;

      Mobile Banner:  a Banner Advertisement for display on mobile phone web pages in rotation with other advertisements;

      MPU: a Banner Advertisement displayed on the home page (unless otherwise agreed) and in rotation with other advertisements;

      Pay per View CV Search: a service which enables the Recruiter to search and/or review a database of anonymised  CVs and pay to view the contact details of jobseekers whose CVs are of interest to the Recruiter;

      Personalised Pages: personalised web pages where a jobseeker may access his/her own personal details, CV, all vacancy applications made in the last 30 days and a range of other services;

      Personalised Pages Banner a Banner Advertisement displayed in the Personalised Pages of jobseekers registered in the relevant job/area sector in rotation with other advertisements;

      Premier Advert: a Display Advertisement guaranteed a top 3 position in search results for one week;

      Run of Site Banner: a Banner Advertisement across the website (excluding the homepage) and within the Personalised Pages in rotation with other advertisements;

      Sector Sponsorship: a service whereby a search within a specific job/area sector will generate a display of the Recruiter’s Banner Advertisement and/or Button Advertisement in rotation with other advertisements;

      Branded Semi-Display Advertisement: a vacancy advertisement that uses a branded Semi-Display Template and inserted text. The combination is used to advertise a single vacancy and is available to jobseekers via online search and once per week via the Jobs-by-Email service;

      Unbranded Semi-Display Advertisement: a vacancy advertisement that uses an unbranded Semi-Display Template and inserted text. The combination is used to advertise a single vacancy and is available to Candidates via online search and once per week via the Jobs-by-Email service; Also referred to as a Job Ad when purchasing via the self-service ecommerce system;

      Semi-Display Advertisement: a Branded Semi-Display Advertisement or Unbranded Semi-Display Advertisement (as applicable);

      Semi-Display Template: a standard template made up of text, graphics and data whose colours, text font and graphic are set by the Company and, if requested by the Recruiter, in consultation with the Recruiter;

      Skillword Sponsorship: a service whereby a search for specific words and/or locations will generate a display of the Recruiter's Banner Advertisement and/or Button Advertisement in rotation with other advertisements;

      Skyscraper: a Banner Advertisement that is displayed vertically on the homepage (unless otherwise agreed) in rotation with other advertisements;

      Vacancy Posting Software: any piece of recruitment related software used by the Recruiter to submit vacancy advertisements to the Company;

      Video MPU a video version of the MPU;

      Virtual Careers Fair: provision of virtual careers fair stand and services (gold, silver and bronze packages available)

        

      Specific Conditions That Apply to Certain Products and Services

      1.      Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements

      1.1.     Lineage Advertisements are only available to Recruiters who are recruitment agencies as defined by the Employment Agencies Act 1973. For the avoidance of doubt, Lineage Advertisements are not available in relation to Fixed Fee Recruitment models.

      1.2.     All Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements must be entered online by the Recruiter, sent in the Company email template to the Company email address or sent in a specific file format to the Company file directory as notified by the Company to the Recruiter.

      1.3.     Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements will be sent on a weekly basis to all relevant jobseekers registered with the Jobs-by-Email service.

      1.4.     The Company will convert each vacancy described in a Semi-Display Advertisement to a Lineage Advertisement for the purposes of distributing through the Jobs-By-Email service.

      1.5.     Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements will remain live and available for searching for the number of weeks requested by the Recruiter up to a maximum of 52 weeks.

      1.6.     Any live Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement may be removed by the Recruiter. The Recruiter will be charged for the full number of weeks for which the Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement was originally placed.

      1.7.     Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements can only be modified by the Recruiter within the first 4 hours following submission to the Company and thereafter cannot be modified in anyway whatsoever by the Recruiter.

      1.8.     Lineage Advertisements may link to a Recruiter's Corporate Brochure or Live Vacancy Listing or contact details but must not contain a link or references to the Recruiter's website.

      1.9.     Lineage Advertisements and Semi-Display Advertisements may only contain:

      1.9.1.   one mail address which must be in the specific place designated by the Company and must not be part of the text describing the vacancy; and

      1.9.2.   information describing the Recruiter and/or the services offered by the Recruiter in the specific place designated by the Company and must not be part of the text describing the vacancy.

      1.10.   A Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement must contain the details of, accurately describe and pertain to no more than a single vacancy.

      1.11.   Semi-Display Advertisements will be ranked higher in the results of a jobseeker’s search than identical Lineage Advertisements.

      1.12.   If requested by the Recruiter, the Company shall send an email to the Recruiter to remind it that a particular Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement is about to expire. The Recruiter accepts that if it replies to such a requested email in any way the relevant Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement will be renewed by an automated system linked to the reply email and such renewal shall be on the same terms as set out in the original Order Form relating to that Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement (as amended by the terms of Company’s email, if applicable). It is the Recruiter's responsibility to ensure that the Recruiter does not respond to the Company’s email in any way (whether manually or by means of an automatic system) if it does not want to renew the relevant Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement.

      1.13.   Where the Recruiter chooses to use third party Vacancy Posting Software to submit a Lineage Advertisement or Semi-Display Advertisement, the Recruiter accepts that any malfunction of, or change to, the Vacancy Posting Software or its incompatibility with the Company's systems causing incorrect, missing or multiple submissions is entirely the responsibility of the Recruiter and the Recruiter agrees that any quota of services used and fees incurred will be payable in full.

      2.      Display Advertisements, Corporate Brochures and Corporate Buttons

      2.1.     Corporate Brochures and Display Advertisements must be provided in the form set by the Company from time to time. The Company shall make such modifications to any Corporate Brochures or Display Advertisements as are reasonably requested by the Recruiter.

      2.2.     In relation to Display Advertisements:

      2.2.1.   Display Advertisements will remain live in multiples of 2 or 4 week periods, as requested by the Recruiter.

      2.2.2.   Display Advertisement must contain the details of, accurately describe and pertain to no more than a single vacancy.

      2.2.3.   the Company will convert each vacancy described in a single Display Advertisement to a Lineage Advertisement for the purposes of distributing through the Jobs-By-Email service.

      2.3.     Display Advertisements will be sent on a weekly basis to all relevant jobseekers registered with the Jobs-by-Email service and will be ranked higher in the results of a jobseeker’s search than identical Lineage Advertisements or Semi-Display Advertisements.

      2.4.     In relation to Corporate Brochures:

      2.4.1.   Corporate Brochures will remain live in multiples of months, as requested by the Recruiter.

      2.4.2.   Corporate Brochures may contain one link to the Recruiter's website and a link to the Recruiter's Live Vacancy Listing.

      2.4.3.   Technical specifications are available on request.

      2.5.   Corporate Buttons will be located on the Featured Recruiter Listing and periodically on the homepage and the Personalised Pages of relevant jobseekers. Corporate Buttons may also feature in relation to Location Sponsorship, Sector Sponsorship and Skillword Sponsorship (as applicable).

      2.6.     Corporate Buttons will link to the Recruiter’s vacancy advertisement, Live Vacancy Listing or Corporate Brochure (if any).

      2.7.     Technical specifications for Corporate Buttons are available on request.

      3.      Location Sponsorship

      3.1.     Only those locations listed on the locations job search page may be sponsored.

      3.2.     Banner Advertisements designed by the Company will be static. Banner Advertisements that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for Banner Advertisements are available on request.

      3.3.     Banner Advertisements for Location Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of weeks.

      3.4.     Corporate Buttons for Location Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of months up to a maximum of 12 consecutive months. Technical specifications for Corporate Buttons are available on request.

      3.5.     No guarantee is given by the Company as to the number of times that the Banner Advertisement or Corporate Button will be displayed.

      4.     Sector Sponsorship

      4.1.     Banner Advertisements designed by the Company will be static. Banner Advertisements that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for Banner Advertisements are available on request.

      4.2.     Banner Advertisements for Sector Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of weeks.

      4.3.     Corporate Buttons for Sector Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of months up to a maximum of 12 consecutive months. Technical specifications for Corporate Buttons are available on request.

      4.4.     No guarantee is given by the Company as to the number of times that the Banner Advertisement or Corporate Button will be displayed.

      5.     Skillword Sponsorship

      5.1.     Banner Advertisements designed by the Company will be static. Banner Advertisements that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for Banner Advertisements are available on request.

      5.2.     Banner Advertisements for Skillword Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of weeks.

      5.3.     Corporate Buttons for Skillword Sponsorship are available to order in multiples of months up to a maximum of 12 consecutive months. Technical specifications for Corporate Buttons are available on request.

      5.4.     No guarantee is given by the Company as to the number of times that the Banner Advertisement or Corporate Button will be displayed.

      6.     CV Online and CV Watchdog

      6.1.     Each of CV Online and CV Watchdog are available to order in multiples of months.

      6.2.     The CV Watchdog service will (under normal circumstances) be delivered to the Recruiter by email at least once per business day and such email will include all CVs identified by the search strings selected by the Recruiter.

      6.3.     The Company will use reasonable efforts to supply CVs to the Recruiter via CV Watchdog within one business day of receipt of the CV from the jobseeker.

      6.4.     The Company will use reasonable efforts to make CVs searchable via CV Online within three hours of receipt on a business day of the CV from the jobseeker.

      6.5.     The Company does not guarantee a minimum number of new CVs available via CV Watchdog or CV Online on any given day.

      7.     Job of the Week

      7.1.     The featured vacancy will be displayed for one week, rotating with up to 2 other advertisements. No guarantee is given by the Company as to the number of times that the vacancy will be displayed.

      7.2.     The featured vacancy will hyperlink to the full vacancy advertisement displayed on the website.  

      8.       Jobs-by-Email Sponsorship

      8.1.     Jobs-by-Email Sponsorship is available to order in single business day units (multiple days can be ordered).

      8.2.     The Recruiter accepts that the Company cannot guarantee the number of recipients or the responses of the Jobs-by-Email Sponsorship.

      9.     Featured Jobs-By-Email

      9.1.     Featured Jobs-by-Email advertisements may only be sent to jobseekers registered for the Jobs-By-Email service on a scheduled date and time agreed between the Company and the Recruiter.

      9.2.     Featured Jobs-by-Email advertisements must contain details of and accurately describe career opportunities and will be sent only to jobseeker’s that have registered matching search criteria.

      9.3.     Featured Jobs-by-Email advertisements must link to an existing Semi-Display Advertisement or Display Advertisement or to a Recruiter's Corporate Brochure. 

      9.4.     The Recruiter accepts that the Company cannot guarantee the number of recipients or the responses to the Featured Jobs-by-Email advertisement.

      10.   Filtering Forms

      10.1.   Filtering Forms are available to order in multiples of months.

      11.   Leaderboard Banner, Homepage Banner, Skyscraper, MPU, Video MPU, Run of Site Banner

      11.1.   Technical specifications for Leaderboard Banners, Homepage Banners, Skyscrapers, MPUs, Video MPUs and Run of Site Banners are available on request.

      11.2.   Expandable and/or animated versions of Banner Advertisements must have a close button, retract on mouse-off and sound off as default. Banner Advertisements designed by the Company will be static. Banner Advertisements that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense.

      11.3.   Leaderboard Banners, Homepage Banners, Skyscrapers, MPUs, Video MPUs and Run of Site Banners are available to order in multiples of 1000 impressions (subject to minimum of 25,000 impressions) and will be run over an agreed timeframe and will  link to the Recruiter’s vacancy advertisement, Live Vacancy Listing or Corporate Brochure (if any).

      12.    Personalised Pages Banner

      12.1.   Personalised Pages Banners designed by the Company will be static. Personalised Pages Banners that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for Personalised Pages Banners are available on request.

      12.2.   Personalised Pages Banners are available to order in multiples of months up to a maximum of 12 consecutive months.

      12.3.   Personalised Pages Banners are displayed on a rotational basis and no guarantee is given by the Company as to the number of times that they will be displayed.

      13.    Mobile Banner

      13.1.   Mobile Banners designed by the Company will be static. Mobile Banners that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for Mobile Banners are available on request.

      13.2.   Mobile Banners are available to order in multiples of 1000 impressions (subject to minimum of 25,000 impressions) and will be run over an agreed timeframe and will link to the Recruiter’s vacancy advertisement, Live Vacancy Listing or Corporate Brochure (if any).

      14.    iPhone App Sponsorship

      14.1.   iPhone App Banners designed by the Company will be static. iPhone App Banners that are animated may be accepted if they are supplied complete to the Company by the Recruiter at the Recruiter's own expense. Technical specifications for iPhone App Banners are available on request.

      14.2.   iPhone App Banners are available to order in multiples of 1000 impressions (subject to minimum of 25,000 impressions) and will be run over an agreed timeframe and will  link to the Recruiter’s vacancy advertisement, Live Vacancy Listing or Corporate Brochure (if any).

      15.    Virtual Careers Fair

       15.1. Details of available service packages are listed below.

      • Scrolling Marquee message throughout the day
      • Report on all stand activity

       BRONZE STAND Package

      • 2 Content Tabs on the stand to link to any employer branding content you have such as company profiles, videos, job postings or your careers website
      • Report on all stand activity
      • 3 Stand Staff 

      15.2. Virtual Careers Fair packages will only be provided if payment has been met in full. 

      15.3. The Recruiter may cancel its contract for the Virtual Careers Fair at any time by giving notice in writing to the Company subject to the following cancellation charges on the total fees for the Virtual Careers Fair:

      15.3.1. Cancellation prior to one month before the Start Date: 50%

      15.3.2. Cancellation less than one month before the Start Date: 100% 

      15.4. The Recruiter must upload all content and materials and customise the virtual careers fair stand at least two weeks prior to the Start Date. The Company shall not be under any obligation to facilitate the incorporation of any content and materials submitted after this time.
